Doug Kilgore, 69, of Princeton, passed away Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at Baptist Health in Paducah.
Doug worked for over 20 years at Vulcan Machinery in Smithland. He was a hard-working man with a big heart. He was giving and was always eager to be a helping hand. Doug was also a loving father and grandfather.
Doug is survived by two daughters, Trish Kilgore and LeeAnn (Chris) Haley; two siblings, Mary Ann Stevens and Johnny Kilgore; seven grandchildren, Megan, Kristen, Brianna, Logan, Colin, Dylan, and Devin; on great-granddaughter, Sophia; cousin, Tonya (Kenneth) Breedlove; one uncle, Franklin (Dathel) Kilgore; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Preceding Doug in death are his parents, Pat Kilgore and Wanda Davis-Kilgore; two brothers, Earl Kilgore and Glenn Kilgore; paternal grandparents J.T. and Lucille Kilgore; maternal grandparents Claude and Annie Davis; and three uncles, James “Frog” Kilgore, Harold Gene Kilgore, and Francis Kilgore.
Per his wishes, Doug will be cremated and no services are scheduled at this time.
