Marcella May

Marcella “Marcy” May, 66, of Paducah, passed away Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Baptist Health in Paducah.

Marcy was a retired substitute teacher and was of the Christian Faith.

Marcy is survived by her husband, Reginald May; her mother, Lydia Hicks; two children, Kristy Lynn Wood (Noah) Jaques and DJ Wood; two siblings, Rhoda F. Hicks and Michael L. (Michelle) Hicks; two grandchildren, Katelynn (Austin) Elrod and Makayla Lynn Colgan; a nephew, Danny Dryden, and several other nieces, nephews, and other loving family members.

Preceding Marcy in death is her father, William H. Hicks Sr., and one brother, William H. Hicks Jr.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 18, 2021 at 2:00 pm at Lindsey Funeral Home with Billy Jaques officiating. Friends may visit the family from 1:00 pm to service hour.
