Matthew “Matt” Babb, 62, of Hickory, passed away Friday, August 25, 2023 at Jackson Purchase Medical Center.
Matt loved the outdoors. He loved to fish, hunt, and ride horses. He spent many years training horses.
Matt is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Mark and Kim Babb, and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding Matt in death is his wife, Reene Smith Babb; his parents, Bill and Pat Babb; and two siblings, Marsha Jones and Mike Babb.
No services for Matt are scheduled at this time. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Lindsey Funeral Home to assist with his arrangements.
