Richard Smith

Richard Smith, 87, of Benton, passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at his home.

Richard worked many years in different factories. He was a hardworking man who could fix anything he could get his hands on. Holding hands with his wife, Pat, made the day complete. Richard was a member of Olive Baptist Church in Benton.

Richard is survived by his wife, Pat Smith; five children, Tim Smith, Michelle Culp, V.W. Groom, Dick Groom, and Wayne Groom; one brother, Larry Smith; and two grandchildren, Richard Tyler Smith and Hillary Kathryn Smith.

Preceding Richard in death are his parents, Richard and Pauline Smith.

Per his wishes, Richard will be cremated and no services are scheduled at this time.

Lindsey Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
