Robert "Darrell" Followell

Robert “Darrell” Followell, 89, of Benton passed away on February 3, 2021 at his home.

Mr. Followell was a retired truck driver and proud veteran of the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Annabelle  Followell of Benton; one son; Robert “Bud” Darrell Followell, Jr. of Lake Placid, Florida; two daughters, Jane Ellen Rice of Paducah and Janice Elaine Fisher of Benton; one sister, Jean Biggers of Arizona; six grandchildren, Dillon Followell, Amanda Followell, Victoria Adams, Candice Rice, Clint Fisher, Darrell Fisher; and six great-grandchildren.

Mr. Followell was preceded in death by his parents,  Robert Followell and Cora Stilley; one brother, Richard Followell; and one sister, Gladys Trail.

Private family memorial and military rites will be held at a later date.
