Ted Bastida

Theodore “Ted” Bastida, 88, of Paducah, died Tuesday, June 7, 2022 at his home.

Ted retired from the railroad as a switchman and enjoyed being a state park manager in his later years.

Ted is survived by four children, John Anthony (Barbie) Bastida, Mike (Shanda) Bastida, Martin (Janice) Bastida, and Theresa (Jamie) Carroll; eight grandchildren, Cody, Noah, Ian, Amber, Aaron, Austin, Nick, and Nate; and great-grandchildren, Warren, Wyatt, and Alexa; and his cat, Pepper.

Preceding Ted in death is one daughter, Tracy Bastida; his wife, Gail Hietala; and his parents.

No services are scheduled at this time.
