Obituary
Virginia Mildred Lee Day Swift passed away May 6, 2023, 7:50 am at the Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah.
Born November 26, 1940, to Jess and Virgie Day at Birdsville KY.
She loved her family with all her heart, enjoyed nothing more than preparing holiday meals and getting together with family and she had a great love of golf.
Survived by her son, Giovanni Day; one sister, Pat Dodson; one brother, Phil Day; and two grandsons, Eli and Casey Day.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Swift; her father, Jess Day; her mother, Virgie Day Shumaker; one brother, Jack Day; and several nieces, and nephews.
Her cremated remains will be placed with her husband, Mike Swift at the West Kentucky Military Cemetery in Hopkinsville, Ky, May 26, 2023, at 10:00 AM.
